March 4: Bad batches, events, deals and all things Star Wars Day

Star Wars Day (aka May 4th) is just around the corner. Yes, it's time to celebrate that galaxy far away with a "holiday", which originated from the pun of the phrase "Let the power be with you" and started by fans. Now accepted by Lucasfilm and its owner Disney, there are both official and unofficial celebrations to commemorate Star Wars - and it's great to find deals.

Disney began observing Star Wars Day at theme parks in 2013, but with quarantine and social distancing policies in effect, these are not the first time Disney has seen the Star Wars Day. These events will not take place this year. Instead, Star Wars Day is celebrated remotely, but this has become much easier with Disney Plus.

Some fans also observe the next day, 5/5, as the Fifth Revenge (the movie title play Sith revenge). Others are aware of it instead of 5-6, 6th revenge. Both days celebrate the Sith Lord and villain of the Star Wars franchise, as opposed to Jedi.

So what kind of celebration is being held for Star Wars Day in 2021? Check out everything you can see and do. May the 4th be with you.

Watch Star Wars movies in sequence at Disney Plus All 9 of the central Star Wars movies, as well as Rogue One and Solo: Star Wars Stories are available at Disney Plus. You can also watch both seasons of Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels, Mandalorian, and even Lego Star Wars Holiday specials.

Lucasfilm also announced several spin-off series at Disney Investors Day in 2020/12. 1 of the show, The Bad Batch, will start on 5/4, but the rest won't arrive until late 2021 at the earliest.

Star Wars: Bad Batch This animated series, which will be available from 5/4 on Disney Plus, expands the exploits of the Clone Trooper squad and each has a mutation that gives him a certain specialty.Whether it is strength, intelligence, or enhanced vision. The series took place between Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, and the bad batch has now become mercenaries.

Mandalorian Season 3 According to recent reports, Mandalorian Season 3 has just started filming and is expected to be released in late 2021 or early 2022. It is certain that Pedro Pascal will return as the titular hero, but there is little else known about the plot, the main story seemed to be wrapped in Grogu (aka Baby Yoda), so everyone but Luke Skywalker froze. The character of Pedro Pascal is similar to the character of his character. The character of Pedro Pascal is similar to his character.

Boba Fett's Book Written at the end of Season 2 of the Mandalorian, Boba Fett returns to Jabba, the Hutt's palace, literally cleaning the house. The series will debut in 2021-12 with Temeula Morrison as Fett and Min Na Wen as Fennec Shand.

Star Wars: Ahsoka Another spinoff sees Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, a former padawan of Anakin Skywalker. The series does not have an official release date, but it seems that it will be sometime in 2022. Given her dialogue at the Mandalorian, the series probably follows the Great Admiral Thrawn, who first appeared in animated form in Star Wars: The Rebels, and could also mean the first live-action appearance of Ezra Bridger (played by Aladdin star Mena Masood, presumably), and the Jedi. He found the series as Lee In Training and disappeared while fighting Thrawn in the finale.

Andor This live-action series is a prequel to Rogue One and follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna)'s exploits as a rebel spy. Genevieve O'Reilly is also set to come back as Mont Mosma. Filming will begin in late 2020-11 and will be released in 2022.

Obi・Wan Kenobi Wan McGregor returns as Kenobi and Hayden Christensen returns as Darth Vader. The series takes place about 10 years after the Sith's revenge, and probably sees Tatouine's Kenobi watching the young Luke Skywalker from a distance. Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will reprise their roles as Uncle Owen and Aunt Bell. With development beyond 2019, Kenobi started shooting only this spring, so you shouldn't expect to see it until after 2022.

Land The details of this event series mean it will be one-off, but it's still pretty sketchy. We don't know if Donald Glover or Billy Dee Williams will play the cape・wearing Carlisian, or if any other actor will be in the lead. No release date has been set.
