iPhone13 prototype leak revealed a "new" design

The latest iPhone 13 leaks have revealed what Apple's new smartphone could potentially look like, thanks to the iPhone 13 mini prototype.

As reported by Chinese site ITHome, this unofficial prototype features two redesigned rear camera lenses positioned diagonally, as opposed to the vertical arrangement seen on last year's iPhone 12. This comes after a leak hinting at a new dual-camera arrangement corresponding to the prototype in question.

Now, it must be kept in mind that this is still a prototype and Apple has not confirmed anything surrounding the leaks and rumors. In fact, mass production has almost certainly not begun, as the official launch is expected in September.

The prototype's appearance reveals few changes compared to the previous iPhone 13 model, aside from a redesigned camera. Even the navy blue color clearly corresponds to the latest 2020 lineup. However, if we believe the speculation and Apple really insists on a diagonal camera lens arrangement, perhaps we will see a similar design implemented in a larger, more premium phone model.

Apple's iPhone 13 lineup is expected to feature the highly anticipated A15 Bionic chip, which is rumored to begin production in late May, ahead of schedule. Other major rumors also suggest a smaller notch, always-on display, and 120Hz ProMotion display in the Pro and Pro Max models.

The iPhone 13 is also rumored to have a number of camera upgrades, including a portrait mode for video and an astrophotography feature for capturing the night sky. And the regular iPhone 13 may offer sensor-shift image stabilization, which was previously reserved for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
