Legend of Shang Qi and Ten Ring trailer, release date, cast, poster and latest news

"Shan Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" is one of three completely original films in MCU Phase 4 and the only one to feature a solo hero. As such, it may seem a bit ridiculous - and these elements make it one of the most anticipated Marvel films of the future.

But this is Marvel, and nothing in the MCU really stands alone. Indeed, the film is not tied to the first Iron Man film from years ago. It may even tie up loose ends for a character we thought was no longer with us.

"The Legend of Shang Ki and the Ten Rings" is currently scheduled for release on September 3, 2021.

It was originally scheduled to arrive on February 12, 2021, after the release of Black Widow and Eternals. However, due to COVID-related delays, these two films were pushed back a year and Shanghime was moved to July 9. Further delays put Black Widow in its release slot, with Shanghime arriving in September.

Disney's current plan is to release Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in theaters. The film will eventually be released on Disney Plus, but will not be released simultaneously with the Disney Plus Premiere Access granted to Black Widow.

"Kim's Convenience" star Sim Liu will play the lead role of Shan Qi, while Akwafina will play his friend Katie. Tony Leung plays Mandarin, Shan Shih's father and the terrorist organization Ten Rings.

The film also stars Farrah Chen as Jiang Li, Zhang Meng'er as Shalin, Marvel supervillain Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist, Ronnie Chen as John John, Dallas Liu in an unannounced role, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. The film will also feature.

It is unknown if Ben Kinglsey, who played actor Trevor Slattery, the fake Mandarin in Iron Man 3, will also appear. Trevor was last seen being kidnapped from prison by Ten Rings agents in the short film All Hail the King.

A few months before its release, Marvel posted the first trailer showcasing some of the film's action.

The trailer reveals that the film will take place at various points in Shoji's life, and that there will be flashbacks to what appears to be a battle somewhere in ancient Asia.

Sim Liu also released the first poster on Twitter featuring Shoji in full costume.

Marvel's official synopsis claims that Shang-Chi "must confront the past he thought he had left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious organization Ten Ring."

The trailer reveals that Shang-Chi was given ten years of freedom by his father, who wants him to return to the Ten Ring and rule by his side. However, Shang-Chi has different ideas and refuses to do so.

As a result, he comes into conflict with some rather nasty people who seem to be working for the Mandarin and the Ten Ring. One of them has a sword in his arm.
