Google Chrome has made it easier to reopen closed tabs — how do you do it here

Google Chrome is rolling out an update that will allow users to view recently closed tabs from the tab search window. This is according to Techdows, which reports that the latest version of Chrome Canary will include a newly rearranged tab history feature.

The new Chrome feature not only provides quick access to closed tabs, but also improves the usability of the platform by eliminating the need to search through Chrome's history menu.

Combined with the Search Tabs feature, users can quickly search for old tabs that were accidentally closed.

Currently, when a tab is closed, users must go to the browser's history menu in the menu bar to find the closed page. Currently, the tab search pop-out includes a list of currently open tabs and below that a list of recently closed tabs.

Currently available only in the latest version of Chrome Canary, it is automatically turned on by default and does not require opting in or toggling any flags or configuration options. To use this feature, follow these steps.

This feature is still in the early testing stages, but we expect it to be introduced in the stable version of Google Chrome in the near future.

This follows a number of updates to the Chrome platform, including the Sharing Hub for Chrome desktop and improved auto-entry, and Google is launching more frequent updates to improve the day-to-day usability of the platform promises to do so.
