Falcon and the Winter Soldier got off to a rocky start in Episode 4, but the trailers for Episodes 5 and 6 suggest that they will not lose their momentum. In fact, we may be about to see the showdown fans have been waiting for.

There isn't much new footage in the new trailer, but it is clear that Sam and Bucky will be facing off against John Walker, the new Captain America. And Steve Rogers' iconic shield is in jeopardy.

The previous episode ended with John Walker, enraged by the death of his comrade Lemar Hoskins, using his shield to brutally kill a member of the flag-smashing group in public. Not only did Sam and Bucky see it happen, but the whole world got a glimpse of the dark side of the new Captain America.

Walker has been in bad shape the last few days and obviously had a lot on his plate, but we would never have seen Steve Rogers kill someone in that manner. In fact, this scene is similar to the climax of "Civil War," in which Steve uses the exact same technique to take out Tony Stark. However, instead of delivering the killing blow, the shield disabled Iron Man's armor.

Needless to say, Sam and Bucky would have some issues with Walker's actions trampling on Steve Rogers' legacy. Therefore, it appears that the two will try to take the shield away from Walker, despite Sam's previous dismissal of the idea.

There are also rumors of a major cameo in Episode 5, although the trailer doesn't show it. The only question is who it will be. Marvel has already denied that the late Chadwick Boseman will appear. It might make sense for Black Panther to appear, but given the Wakandan elements of the show, it's unlikely.

I would also speculate that Chris Evans is unlikely to reprise his role as Steve Rogers, but stranger things can happen. Besides, the appearance of the old Captain America in a strange way would be a distraction from Sam's ongoing journey to win the mantle.
