Just in time for Easter, it seems that the new iPhone 12 MagSafe case may have some aesthetic upgrades on the horizon. Tracking down this particular iPhone rumor was itself akin to an Easter egg hunt, so fitting. 'Tis the season for iPhone surprises, it seems, and it never hurts to have more color options in your proverbial basket.

MagSafe accessories are coming out of the woodwork, and earlier today DuanRui claimed via Twitter that there would be new colors for Apple's 2021 iPhone 12 spring accessory collection.

Citing an image from the Weibo account "Uncle Pan," it appears that the iPhone 12 MagSafe case will soon come in soft pastel colors like light blue, green, and orange. But the juicy part of this leak is Apple's embrace of dark purple, which adds royal flair to your already chic iPhone 12.

Unless Uncle Pan is pulling a fast one on us for April Fool's Day (he's too late anyway), this rumor sounds like it's par for the course when it comes to Apple accessories. After all, the company released matching iPhone 11 and Apple Watch bands this time last year. Furthermore, Apple typically releases new accessories at the end of March or early April, right around this time. (It is worth noting, however, that Uncle Pan does not have a particular track record for accurate Apple information and can only be trusted through his association through DuanRui.) It's a confusing world of complex color schemes.)
