Boys Season 3 casting News— Little Nina just revealed

The latest cast members for Season 3 of "The Boys" have been announced. Katya Wintour ("Dexter," "Sleepy Hollow") will reportedly play the fan favorite, along with another big name actor joining the Amazon Prime Video show, Jensen Ackles ("Supernatural").

The casting news comes from Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, who noted that while Winter's casting is confirmed, no details about her playing Little Nina have been officially announced. Why is that? Because, dear readers, the spoiler alert sirens may sound, but Little Nina's history in comic books will make her character quite infamous.

It's rare that casting news is paired with a prediction of how the character will die, but "The Boys" is a very unique show. And since it is "The Boys" we are talking about here, the following spoilers are not for children.

In the comic of "The Boys," Little Nina worked with Vaught and made enemies with the Butcher and the gang when she started making more supers with a weaker version of Compound V.

In the comic of "The Boys," Little Nina was a little more than a kid.

As noted above, Winter is not the only new face in the new season of The Boys. Jensen Ackles plays Solider Boy, a patriotic take on the character of Captain America. One wonders if Little Nina and Soldier Boy will be on the same side on the battlefield, because Soldier Boy was one of the original superheroes who got Compound V when Frederick Vought turned to the Allies during World War II. Whether Soldier Boy will reappear in Boys' world and fight on the same side as before is not known, as it is only speculation based on the comics.

Season 3 of "The Boys" is currently in production, and no date has been set for its release on Prime Video. We expect it to appear in early 2022, after the "The Boys" spin-off show that was announced last year.
