1.8 seconds is really not a long time. In fact, it would take more time just to read this sentence. In fact, it would take more time just to read this sentence. And while you are doing so, the Daymax Pilatus Ultimate has already reached 60 mph.

This three-wheeled electric car is faster than the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and Bugatti Chiron; at $149,000, it's not cheap, but fortunately, there is a slightly less exotic version available for the far cheaper price of $19,995.

The Spiritus is a three-wheeled, two-seat, all-electric coupe that Daymac says "rides like a go-kart;" there are two models, and performance (and price) varies widely between the two, but both are quite nimble.

The Spiritus Ultimate is a truly special model; in fact, it is said to be "the fastest three-wheeler in the world." In addition to its incredible acceleration, the combination of its 80 kWh battery and 350 lb. lightweight body gives it a range of 298 miles.

Power comes from a 147 kW motor, which, coupled with its light weight, gives the Ultimate a top speed of at least 130 mph. It also has solar panels to power its non-mechanical systems.

The Spiritus Deluxe, on the other hand, must make do with a 36 kWh battery, but can still travel 180 miles on a single charge. It takes 6.9 seconds to reach 60 mph, and its top speed is only around 85 mph.

Both vehicles will be fully roadworthy when they are introduced, but that may not be for some time yet. The company is currently raising funds for production through crowdfunding, with an estimated launch date of 2023.

If you are interested, you can pre-order the Deluxe model starting at $100 and the Ultimate model starting at $50,000.
