Zack Snyder's "Justice League" is not a sequel, although a follow-up film has already been released. The thing is that Zack Snyder is taking the war against color to a new level.

Officially named "Zack Snyder's Justice League: Justice is Gray," the black-and-white version will be released in the future on HBO Max. Unfortunately, the exact date is unknown, but all we know for sure is that the film is "coming soon.

The Snyder cut is already a fairly dark film, and the colors are much less saturated than the theatrical cut. Much of Zack Snyder's film is like that, and the next step was to completely dispense with color.

In fact, Snyder even claims that the black-and-white cut is the "ideal version" of Justice League. Yes, IMAX black-and-white is his ideal version, "the most fan-centric, the most pure, the most Justice League experience. Because I have lived with the film in black and white for two years"

What does removing color from these films actually add? There must be something. Otherwise, the director would not have done that. In this case, however, HBO Max seems content to let Zack Snyder release the black-and-white version on their platform without offending him. Whether the film will be released in IMAX, with or without color, is another matter entirely.

But serious DC fans will still want to tune in. Snyder confirmed that there will be an extended version of the Justice League's "Nightmare" sequence, which will add a line from Jared Leto's Joker. That line includes the infamous "We live in a society" line from the end of the Snyder Cut trailer.
