Trump has launched his own social media platform — everything we Know so Far

Donald Trump followers may be able to join new social media networks now that Parler has been banned from the App Store and Amazon's web hosting service.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who was banned from several social media platforms after the January "Capitol Riots," is reportedly returning to social media on his own platform. Over the weekend, former Trump advisor and spokesman Jason Miller told Fox News that the platform will be unlike anything he has ever seen.

"This is what I think is going to be the hottest ticket in social media, and it's going to completely redefine the game, and everyone will be waiting and watching to see what the hell President Trump does," Miller said

. According to a CNN report, former senior advisor and daughter-in-law Jared Kushner has pleaded with Trump not to participate again in right-wing-backed social media. Currently, when Trump wants to express his views, he uses press releases and official statements. Before Trump was kicked off Twitter, Twitter had more than 80 million followers.

Since becoming president, Trump has boasted that his official statements have attracted a large audience. 'I think it's a very big deal. I just started doing that in the last three or four weeks. But the voices out there - in some ways they may be - may be as loud as ever," Trump said in one of his official statements, as reported by Politico.

Separately, Twitter announced

that it would seek input from users on how it should handle the accounts of world leaders and what criteria it should use in monitoring the output of elected officials. 'Everybody wants him. He holds a lot of high-level meetings," Miller said. He further claimed that "numerous companies" have approached him about his social media efforts.

No date has been announced for the planned launch of Trump's social media network.
