He leads the Eagles in scoring (12.2 ppg), rebounding (7.2 rpg), assists (6.9 apg), and steals (1.3 spg), while sophomore big man D.J. Barnes uses his 6'9 (275 lbs) frame to be a force inside the paint. He had 10 ppg in the regular season, but had 22 points in the Big South title game.

Nova (16-6) is missing one of its best players, but the Wildcats are still a contender. Jeremiah Robinson-Earle, who scored a game-high 26 points against Georgetown, and Jermaine Samuels, who scored 20 points against Hoyers. Both are well above their respective scoring averages. Another reason is Jay Wright on the sideline. The Wildcat coach, who is just 59 years old, was recently named a finalist for induction into this year's Basketball Hall of Fame. A two-time national champion, "Jay Wright" deserves to be inducted.

Villanova enters the game as a 6.5-point favorite. The over/under is 143.
