How to Watch Snyder Cut Online Now: Where to Stream Zack Snyder's Justice League

Finally, you can watch Snyder Cut online - yes, the call to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has finally come to fruition on HBO Max. So be prepared for a four-hour marathon.

And early reviews were mixed. The initial Snyder Cut reactions shared by critics on social media were generally positive. Our review of Snyder Cut was less positive, noting that while this is a film that Snyder fans will love, it is still wildly flawed. In any case, we've got all the details you need to see this film online.

The Snyder cut, which aims to erase the awful flavor of the original Justice League film, is streaming on HBO Max. And thanks to fervent fan demand, the film is now a heavily restructured 2017 collection by Snyder and Joss Whedon. Joss Whedon was hired to replace Snyder, who had to leave the project after the death of his daughter.

As the official trailer below shows, this is no ordinary Justice League film. Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, and Superman have bigger headaches than the silvery Steppenwolf.

A mighty deity named Darkseid, the successor to Steppenwolf's will, has appeared, bringing much doom and gloom.

One should note, however, that Snyder Cut will not be the canonical version of this film in the DCEU cinema. The director has called the film an "Elseworlds" version, referring to the branding of DC Comics, which does not follow the mythology and tells fans that stories about iconic characters that affect ongoing history will be told in the book.

The Snyder Cut began streaming on HBO Max on March 18 at 3 a.m. ET.

It will be available on the streaming service for 31 days, ending on April 18.

The HBO Max app is available for Roku, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android devices and Android TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, Playstation 4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, Samsung TV (2016 and later), Chrome, Firefox and Safari web browsers.

In Canada, "Snyder Cut" will be available exclusively on Crave.

Crave usually costs $9.99/month and may require the Movies + HBO add-on to watch Snyder Cut.

Justice League Snyder Cut will be available for streaming in the UK and abroad, but not on HBO Max. This is because the service is not available outside the US.

The film will have to be paid for through a traditional video-on-demand service or obtained through Sky Cinema or NOW TV. Specifically, "Snyder Cut" will be shown exclusively on Sky Cinema in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Austria.

This means that if you do not want to use the former, you will have to rent the movie through Amazon, Apple, or other services. No release date has been set, according to Snyder, unless it is in China, France, or Japan.

It is unclear if it will only be available for rental or for digital purchase; we will know closer to the release date, if not on March 18 itself.

As you might expect, the primary cast of "Justice League" is nearly identical to the Snyder cut: the cast of "Snyder Cut" is very similar to the original film. There is, of course, one major new character: the Dark Seed. Played by Ray Porter, this deity, also known as Uxus, makes his live-action film debut in Snyder Cut. He is the nephew and master of Steppenwolf, the original Justice League villain.

Another major addition to the cast is Jared Leto as the Joker. Since this is not Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, there is now more than one Joker in the DC movies. Also, this Joker looks a little different in the trailer above, so expect an explanation for that.

Reaction to the first Snyder cut was positive, with many tweeting that the film was a notable upgrade from the original. Nevertheless, the full reviews published within the same day were not so satisfactory.

These early Snyder Cut reviews acknowledge that the story of the cyborg character is better, but they also question how much the many other new contents actually improve the quality of the film, as well as its running time.
