According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come in green and black options, with the possibility of other colors, while the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be available in an attractive color called Mystic Bronze.

The Galaxy Z Flip 2 will reportedly offer more options in the form of green, black, beige, and most promisingly light violet.

Given that both foldable phone predecessors were rather striking devices, especially in the light lavender glow of the mirror purple Galaxy Z Flip, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 also have an explosion of color to accompany their foldable forms seems likely to offer.

SamMobile does not mention where it is getting this information from, but the publication is fairly reliable when it comes to internal leaks. However, as ever, we note that we are a bit skeptical here.

Another leak by @chunvn8888 on Twitter (spotted by TechRadar) points to the possibility that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will offer splash resistance. However, the leaker does not say that it will have an IP rating, so don't expect to submerge this foldable phone in water.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to improve on the previous model, borrowing quite a bit from the Galaxy S21 Ultra and featuring a Contour Cut rear camera module. However, some rumors point to the use of an under-display selfie camera, which would no doubt give the foldable phone a serious technological boost.

Other leaked and teased upgrades include S Pen support, stronger glass, and a new chipset (possibly a Snapdragon 888).

Similar upgrades are likely for the Galaxy Z Flip 2, which will take design cues from the Galaxy S21 series and improve camera capabilities, durability, and performance. We do not expect radical changes, but rather an evolution over the previous model.
