Samsung Galaxy A52 video leak must have scared pixel 4a5g

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has been the subject of new leaks, including a hands-on video on YouTube, just a week before its launch. The evidence suggests that the Pixel 4a 5G could be a serious contender.

A video by YouTuber Moboaesthetics details all the specs and features the phone will offer. And assuming it's all accurate, there won't be much left to reveal when this phone is unveiled at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event on March 17.

The video confirms that the Galaxy A52 will feature a number of key high-end specs that have been leaked previously. These include a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 750G chipset, IP67 water resistance, in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP front camera, and quad-lens rear camera display.

This rear camera array includes a 64MP main lens with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and two additional sensors with resolutions of 5MP and 2MP. The video does not reveal what these will be used for, but past leaks indicate that these are a macro sensor and a depth sensor. It is not clear which is which, however.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S21, this phone will ship with a 25W fast charger. The phone also includes a microSD card slot, another useful feature that the Galaxy S21 passed up on this year.

Android 11 and Samsung's One UI 3.1 are included, making for a very impressive sounding phone. It may not have the most powerful chipset, but such compromises are the reason this is a mid-range A-series rather than an S-series flagship.

Of course, we won't know how well this phone will actually perform until we test it ourselves, but it looks promising at this stage, especially since it is rumored to cost €429 ($511). a 4G-only version will also be available for €349 ($415) It is said to be coming, but the screen refresh rate will be limited to 90 Hz.

No word yet on when the A52 will be released, but we should know soon, as the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event will be held on March 17. Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy A72.
