Gaming smartphones are still a thing. The recently announced Asus ROG Phone 5 and RedMagic 6 Pro are both devices that push the limits of what can be done with a smartphone. From insane amounts of RAM to high refresh rate displays, these devices squarely target those who are serious about mobile gaming.

There may soon be a new fighter in this ring. The follow-up to Lenovo's Legion Pro (aka Legion Duel) has leaked on Geekbench and may reveal some key specs. And that is what one would expect from a high-end gaming phone.

The device in question is the Lenovo L70081, spotted on Geekbench by Twitter user Abhishek Yadav (via GizmoChina) Lenovo has already teased its next gaming smartphone, so we will hear about it sooner or later We may be hearing about it sooner rather than later.

The results page shows a phone with 16GB of RAM and Android 11. The scores of 1130 single-core and 3779 multi-core are almost identical to the other Snapdragon 888-powered gaming phone we tested, the ROG Phone 5. For reference, Asus' latest gaming phone scored 1127 single-core and 3672 multi-core in our tests.

The results page lists the Snapdragon 888, codenamed "lahaina," with 14.81 GB of RAM available, most likely for a total system memory of 16 GB. Other than that, nothing else is known about this Lenovo L70081.

However, we can seek some clues in the previous Legion gaming smartphone. That device featured a Snapdragon 865, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, according to Geekbench. If this mystery phone listed on Geekbench is the new Legion Pro, we can expect similar specs.

As for the name, it is unclear whether it will be the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro or the Legion Pro 2. If we had to guess, we would say the former, but it remains a mystery.
