The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will be available for pre-order on March 23 and will include true wireless earbuds.

This is according to reliable leaker Evan Blass, who says that early buyers of the upcoming phones will get one of two versions of the OnePlus Buds Z earphones. according to Blass, OnePlus 9 buyers will receive the regular Buds Z, while OnePlus 9 Pro buyers will receive the colorful Steven Harrington Edition.

If true - and Blass is usually right about these things - that would mean that OnePlus 9 buyers would get a true wireless audio kit worth $50 or $60 each with their phones.

Blass also said that pre-orders for the new model will open on March 23. Given what we know about the OnePlus 9 series so far, that seems about right.

Yesterday, the company's CEO Pete Lau tweeted that we should be ready for the launch on March 8. And eight days after the launch event, reservations will begin.

And as these dates get closer, the leaks keep coming.

Another source, spotted by PhoneArena, claims to have spotted color options for the OnePlus 9 series, complete with exclusive shades for Verizon customers.

The leak from oxygenupdater.com lists eight colors across the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The standard OnePlus 9 model comes in Arctic Sky, Astral Black, and Winter Mist flavors, with T-Mobile customers getting the latter two of those colors. Verizon users, on the other hand, can choose between Gloss Black and Gloss Gradient Purple.

The OnePlus 9 Pro, on the other hand, appears to be available in Stellar Black, Forest Green, and Morning Mist, with T-Mobile customers getting only Morning Mist.

The OnePlus 9 is expected to be an upgrade over the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T, especially with access to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset, a flatter display on the Pro model, and a Hasselblad co The Pro model is expected to have a flatter display and access to a camera (also in the Pro model) made in collaboration with Hasselblad. A new camera mode is also expected, but it does not seem very likely that significant changes will be made to the OnePlus 9.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are expected to launch along with the lower-priced OnePlus 9R and the highly anticipated OnePlus Watch. However, neither leak mentions the other two devices, and Blass's view remains that even if they appear at the same time, they will not be eligible for pre-order gifts.
