This hidden iPhone feature was infected with virus in Tik Tok

A new TikTok video shows off a hidden iPhone and iPad feature.

The video, uploaded by user kevin_benjis, allows users to move multiple apps from one screen to the next simultaneously. At the time of publication, his video has already received over 1.5 million views. Not bad for a guy with only 14,000 followers.

Here's how it works. The user presses and holds the icon. The icon begins to move in increments, indicating that it can be moved.

Then, while holding down the first icon, the user can tap other icons with another finger. Those icons will become attached to the first icon.

Once you have collected all the desired icons, simply drag them to the screen of your choice and release. This will mean that all the icons have been moved.

Interestingly, this is not a new feature; it was first shown off in the iOS 11 beta in 2017. It is currently in iOS 14, with a 14.5 public beta taking place right now. But after a decade of iPhone software development, many useful features have slipped by unnoticed by the majority of users.

For example, in the latest iPhone, there are 10 iPhone 12 features that users should enable immediately. These include managing 5G data, tweaking Face ID, enabling picture-in-picture video, and using Apple ProRAW for photos.

And it's not just iPhone 12 users who should catch up on all the new tricks; those using older iPhones with iOS 14 also have a host of tools to tinker with.

If you put together a video of some of these tricks, your clips might even go viral on TikTok.
