Fitbit Premium users now have a new way to practice mindfulness and mental wellness with a trusted expert Fitbit just announced a partnership with Deepak Chopra to offer subscribers audio and video meditation sessions to subscribers.

Deepak Chopra's Mindful Method for Fitbit consists of 10 sessions covering topics such as stress management, breathing, sleep, and happiness. According to Fitbit, new content will be added through the beginning of June, so Premium users will have plenty of mindfulness practices to enjoy over the next few months. [Fitbit Premium costs $9.99/month or $80/year, but new users get a 90-day free trial, which is extended to six months with the purchase of Fitbit Sense. Fitbit Sense also has special features to help you get the most out of the Mindful Method.

One of the best smartwatches and best fitness trackers available today, Fitbit Sense features a skin electrical activity (EDA) temperature sensor that reads your body's response to stress. In addition to a daily stress management score, the Mindfulness Tile in the Fitbit app prompts you to set weekly mindfulness goals.

Meditating with Deepak Chopra allows you to track changes in your EDA and whether it affects your sleep quality and activity level.Fitbit already provides a fairly holistic picture of your health, but this new partnership will help us now more actionable content for mental wellness in a way that we hope wearables companies will follow.
