Specifically, they removed the "crutch" that Tommy had lent them and said, "The death of your people is your own fault. They blamed him, saying, "Because you have consistently failed to understand your own limitations. And when Tommy visibly and emotionally gutted himself while opening the body bag delivered to his home, it was clear that one of them had to be Aunt Polly. This does not answer Black Cat's question, so who knows what is going on with the betrayal of Tommy Shelby.
The series then jumps to December 5, 1933, where a recovering Tommy (still ready to threaten violence) is dealing with the opium trade. Then Tommy betrays Michael (sending him to jail) and Michael's wife Gina is very angry. But it all ends with the news that young Ruby speaks a gypsy language in her sleep.
And that phrase, "Tikna Mora O Beng"? Tommy has to go back to Birmingham because Ruby is talking about the devil.
