The movie "Cocaine Bears" is real. How do I know? Because there is a trailer to prove it. With one of the most outlandish plots in recent memory, and inspired by a true story, "Cocaine Bear" is going to be one of the movies most likely to make its way to theaters in February.

In 1985, in Kentucky of all places, a bear accidentally found cocaine and ate it. Wildness ensued, and we are still a bit shocked that this story is not better known, and that 37 years later, this is the first time it has been made into a movie.

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, "Cocaine Bear" looks like a horror/comedy film similar to "Piranha 3D". This time, however, the cast is much better. It is also the late Ray Liotta's last film appearance.

"Cocaine Bear" will be released on February 24. Since it is a Universal Pictures film, it will likely land on Peacock (one of the best streaming services) 1.5 to 2 months after its theatrical release. The trailer for [Cocaine Bear] shows that, to borrow a line from Stefon, the film has it all. A bear is set loose in the woods, dabbling in cocaine from a brick. And with the energy he gets from those bricks, this bear is climbing trees.

Our favorite part of the trailer is when the bear climbs the tree and chases down someone who thinks he is safe because of the elevation. The trailer ends with the character played by Isiah Whitlock, Jr. saying, "Apex predator, high on cocaine, out of his mind."

What sets "Cocaine Bear" apart from other wild and crazy animal films is its cast. Keri Russell stars as Colette Matthews, a mother trying to find her daughter in the woods. Ray Liotta and O'Shea Jackson Jr. are cocaine-related criminals, and Alden Airyenreich of "Solo" is a strange presence.

The rest of the announced cast includes Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Modern Family"), Margo Martindale ("Justified"), Brooklyn Prince ("The Florida Project"), Isiah Whitlock Jr. Yes, Clay Davis. We expect him to utter the famous and vulgar one-word catchphrase ("sh*t") for the HBO series.
