Watch these 2022 Netflix movies before you leave for 12 months 5

This month (December 2022), even more movies and shows will be removed from Netflix.

Fortunately, many of Netflix's best movies and shows are still available, and Netflix's new titles will continue to drop throughout the month; Netflix is constantly adding and removing, but movies tend to come and go more frequently than shows.

We're not sure if any of these films will trigger a cancellation of Netflix (Netflix is one of the best streaming services), but their absence is sure to be a frustration for some. Our recommendations will help you get the most out of your Netflix subscription this month. Whether you're in the mood for a spy thriller, action crime drama, or classic comedy, there's something for everyone on the list of breakaway movies.

Here are the films to watch before you leave Netflix in December 2022.

Almost everyone believes that Daniel Craig's start as 007 is one of the best James Bond films of all time, as well as one of the best action films of its era. The film is a reboot of sorts, following a British intelligence officer who has just gotten his license to kill and is on an early mission. Thankfully, he has a great adversary in the form of the bloodthirsty-eyed Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen).

After Bond goes to Madagascar, the two cross paths, but before they can duel with weapons, they must first play poker. Released just after the height of the popularity of the World Series of Poker, Craig and Mikkelsen's acting skills are on full display in this tense scene. Thankfully, there are remnants of the previous era of Bond films, with Judi Dench reprising her role as M.

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are two of Hollywood's most likeable actors in Hollywood. Their collaboration in this bromantic comedy is a veritable kismet. Rudd plays Peter, a real estate agent who is engaged to Zoe (Rashida Jones). Peter has no male friends, which becomes a problem when he has to choose a best man.

At an open house, he happens to meet Sydney (Siegel), an investor. The two hit it off immediately, but Sydney rubs Zoe the wrong way. Later, when Sydney makes a rash financial decision, Peter is forced to put an end to their new friendship. Will the two be able to make up before their wedding day?

In the late 90s, Will Smith became one of the world's biggest movie stars thanks to hits like "Independence Day," "Bad Boys" and "Men in Black" The latter spawned two sequels, all three of which leave Netflix this month. Smith, of course, continued his still thriving film career, eventually winning an Oscar last year for "King Richard" (and losing it for slapping Chris Rock onstage).

But back to "Men in Black". An NYPD detective, played by Smith, is recruited by Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) to join the titular extraterrestrial surveillance organization. They oversee the aliens on Earth and make sure they do not affect humans. However, when a newcomer (Vincent D'Onofrio) arrives, the new partners must stop him from stealing a powerful energy source.

Chevy Chase was the first member of the original cast of "Saturday Night Live" to leave the show. And while he did not leave strictly to make movies, he did embark on most of the success of the films, including this 1983 road trip comedy that launched the franchise.

Clark Griswold is an average middle-class man who wants to spend quality time with his wife and children. So he decides to drive the whole family from the suburbs of Chicago to Wally World, an amusement park in Southern California. Along the way, however, various mishaps and misfortunes make the trip a bad and memorable one.

They depart in December. 31|Watch/add (opens in new tab)

Kathryn Bigelow's surf/crime drama is one of the most underrated films in her body of work, and in '90s cinema in general. It is absorbing, absurd, deeply silly, senseless, and sensational. The action scenes, including the aforementioned surfing, are excellent.

Keanu Reeves stars as Johnny Utah, an undercover FBI agent. He infiltrates a surfing community based on a hunch that members of the community are robbing banks. He bonds with the group's leader, Bodhi (the late, great actor Patrick Swayze). As Johnny secretly investigates the surfers, he is also drawn to Bodhi's philosophy and way of life.
