Full OnePlus11 spec Leak — What to Expect here

If the OnePlus 11's February 7 launch doesn't come soon, there will be nothing left to reveal about the upcoming flagship.

Earlier this week, OnePlus released the first press photos of the OnePlus 11, revealing the phone's appearance along with black and green color options. And now a well-known leaker is following that information with further images and specs of OnePlus' next big phone.

Evan Blass posted an image of the OnePlus 11 (opens in new tab) on Twitter. Additionally, what comes in the OnePlus 11 box can be seen in Blass' tweet, which shows the phone along with a charging brick, cable, and OnePlus 11 case.

But the real meat of what can be seen in Blass' tweet is the spec list for the OnePlus 10 Pro. The specs themselves are listed in Chinese, but you can find translations of the specs that are said to be on the OnePlus 11 on the web.

We already knew that the new OnePlus phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a number that will power other top Android phones in 2023 like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23. However, the spec sheet filled in other details about the OnePlus 11.

For example, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 silicon will be supported with 12GB or 16GB of RAM; opting for the 12GB base model will reportedly get you a phone with 256GB of storage; the 16GB OnePlus 11 will be available in either 256GB or 512GB configurations.

Cameras have been a key part of OnePlus' recent flagship releases, and according to leaked specs, the OnePlus 11 will feature a 50MP main lens as the phone maker looks to build on its momentum. According to the spec sheet, the camera will add a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The telephoto lens is supposed to be a resolution upgrade over the OnePlus 10 Pro, but the device was capable of 3.3x optical zoom.

Leaked specs claim that the OnePlus 11 will feature a 16MP selfie cam compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro's 32MP front sensor.

OnePlus seems to be sticking with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is consistent with information posted by TENAA. Like last year's flagship model, the OnePlus 11 appears to have a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with 100W fast wired charging.

OnePlus needs to explain why one should choose its upcoming model over rivals like the Galaxy S23 and Pixel 7 Pro. Clearly, OnePlus continues to push charging speed as a differentiator, and the fact that it is packing RAM (even the base model should have 12GB) suggests that it wants to offer maximum performance to potential buyers.

We are still waiting to hear what camera improvements OnePlus has planned for the OnePlus 11 beyond the new camera setup. In recent years, there has been an emphasis on improving color to ensure that images taken with OnePlus' flagship phones express natural and rich tones. Will that continue with the OnePlus 11, which we will find out on February 7, but somehow we can expect more details about the phone to leak between now and then.
