Today was supposed to be last month. The release date for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Disney Plus" was supposed to be in January at the latest, according to precedent. Fortunately, we got the next best thing.

Earlier this month, Disney announced that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would be available on Disney Plus on February 1, 2023. This is certainly a high-profile way to kick off Black History Month.

In "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," the secret African nation is approached from all angles. And its heroes are also trying to answer the big question, "Who will be the new Black Panther?" is the big question the film's cast and crew (and the world) are still mourning the death of Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020.

"Wakanda Forever," the most recent Marvel film to be released in theaters, will also reveal another world that has been kept secret in the MCU, the undersea kingdom of Tarokan. And its ruler, Namor (Tenoch Huerta), is a new threat that should not be underestimated.

The former was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in "Wakanda Forever."
