Inheritance Season 4 Release Date confirmed for May 26 on Hbo - Watch the teaser trailer now

The boar is floored! Yes, we finally have a release date for "Succession" Season 4. With a new teaser trailer featuring Logan, Shiv, and all the Roy boys, fans of the Roy family shenanigans are all set.

In a press release (opens in new tab), HBO announced a March 26 release date for "Succession" Season 4.

The new teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of the divided Roy family, as Kendall, Roman, and Shiv do not want to call Logan, and Logan himself does not want to call. Logan refuses to make the call himself. Meanwhile, Tom Wabsgums is worried about his position at the company if he and Shiv decide to split up. That seems extremely likely since he betrayed her for Logan in the shocking Season 3 finale. Oh, and in the trailer's best line, Tom compares the Roy family drama to Israel and Palestine.

The official logline reads, "The sale of media conglomerate Wester Royco to high-tech visionary Lucas Mattson (Alexander SkarsgÄrd) is getting closer and closer. The Roys anticipate what their lives will be like after the sale is completed, causing existential anguish and family division. As they weigh a future in which their cultural and political weight is severely reduced, a power struggle erupts.

New cast members announced in the press release include Annabeth Gish ("Midnight Mass"), Adam Godley ("The Great"), Eili Harbaugh ("Thelma"), and Johannes Hauckl Johannesson ("Viking: Valhalla").

HBO has left the premiere date of "Succession" Season 4 a full two weeks after the March 12 finale of "The Last of Us," as if it dared to cancel. But the proximity shows that HBO knows how to keep people in a little extra time while they wait for the next big Sunday night series.

That said, the producers of "Succession" could have used a little more time.

While "Succession" does not live up to its reference to what is happening now, the past few months have seen a series of changes at media giants similar to Wester Reiko, from WBD cutting HBO Max's content to Netflix's management game of musical chairs to WWE to confusion over a potential sale, this spring has given us enough subject matter to keep this show on the air for many seasons.
