Tonight's live stream of Super Bowl 2023 will allow you to watch the Super Bowl in 4K; the 2022 Big Game ended with no way to watch the Super Bowl in 4K (NBC's fault), but not this year.

It's been known for over a week that the Eagles and Chiefs made it to the Big Game, but even more people (especially in Philly and Kansas City) will want to watch the game in Ultra HD. And watching the Super Bowl on Roku will make that possible.

Fox will broadcast this year's Super Bowl 57 in 4K, but it will be an upscaled UHD stream, as it is recorded in 1080p. And while we expect the best Super Bowl commercials in 2023, no one expects them to be shot in Ultra HD.

But as you may know, not all the best cable TV is 4K capable. Fortunately, two are 4K. The only drawback? Neither of them include 4K broadcasts at the entry level.

OK, solved? Let's talk about the two streaming services offering Super Bowl 2023 in 4K.

Our top option for watching the biggest NFL live stream of the year is fuboTV. One of the best streaming services, fuboTV will broadcast FOX's Super Bowl 2023 in 4K. In addition to being a great live TV service, fuboTV also offers the longest free trial of the two services we will be discussing, especially for international sports fans and those with an Apple TV 4K (more on that later).

So, planners, why not take advantage of the 7-day free trial and get excited about fuboTV for a week before the big game? This package is the most affordable fubo option available for 4K streaming. The other option is a 5-day free trial, and you'll find that those extra two days are very much worth it.

Unfortunately, however, as of Sunday, February 12, 2023, Fubo is only allowing new members to sign up for quarterly (3 months at a time) memberships. For this reason, you will want to set a reminder once your free trial ends.

I personally like fuboTV because it has a multi-view mode specifically for Apple TV 4K. With Multiview turned on, you can watch up to four live feeds simultaneously, which is a dream come true for sports fans.

However, fuboTV is missing a few channels that some sports fans (those who like basketball and baseball) would complain about not having: TBS and TNT. Indeed, this is one of the reasons I don't have fubo. I need these Turner networks because of the Dynamite and Rampage shows on All Elite Wrestling.

Now let's talk about YouTube TV with the 4K Plus add-on pack that adds 4K live streams. With the short-term discount (more on that later), YouTube TV with 4K streaming is $85/month, the same as fuboTV. However, as noted above, YouTube TV's 5-day free trial is slightly shorter than fuboTV's 7-day free trial.

Once paid, YouTube TV with 4K will cost $65 per month for the first three months. This is because YouTube TV is currently discounted $10 and the 4K Plus add-on is also discounted $10 for the first year; the fourth month of YouTube TV with 4K will be $75 per month, but the 4K Plus add-on can be turned off.

By the way, the 4K Plus add-on includes two other upgrades: the ability to save DVR recordings for offline on mobile devices and unlimited simultaneous streams when at home; Fubo offers 10 screens at the same time from home.
