For three generations, the iPhone has featured a flat-edge design, but if leaker ShrimpApplePro is correct, that could change with the upcoming iPhone 15 family.

In a series of tweets about the display design of Apple's upcoming smartphones, the leaker claims that the display will remain flat, but all three devices will have curved bezels. In an earlier tweet, the leaker said (open in new tab), "All I can say is that the iPhone 15 looks more Android than ever."

If you're having a hard time imagining what it would look like, the leaker told one of his followers (opens in new tab) "Just imagine the iPhone 11 Pro Max display" - before it's flat aesthetic took over, Apple's was the last smartphone. Remember what that display looked like?

The leaker also suggests that the screen size will remain the same this generation, which may seem surprising given the poor sales of the iPhone 14 Plus, but it takes time to get back on track. iPhone 12 mini sales were a dud, and despite the fact that the iPhone 12 mini's sales were quite Recall that the iPhone 13 mini was released despite the fact that it was clear early on that the iPhone 12 mini was a dud.

Speaking of Pro handsets, the iPhone 15 Ultra has also been mentioned, with titanium shells and other enhancements widely rumored to make the 6.7-inch Pro Max model more attractive.

"Sources described the iPhone 15 Pro Max (aka Ultra) [as] very beautiful," Leeker wrote.

"The thinner bezel and curved edges could create a similar effect to the Apple Watch.

This talk of curves ties in nicely with earlier predictions by leakers: in November, ShrimpApplePro suggested that the upcoming iPhone 15 handset could have a curved back. Combining these two rumors would mean a departure from the flat design era. [However, the key word in this sentence is "rumor," and while ShrimpApplePro's prediction has been proven correct before, it remains speculation until we have a little more evidence.

The good news is that if this proves to be correct, we could have more information in just a few months. The leaker predicts that CAD renderings will "start showing up soon in March or April."
