No need to worry about the association with the ill-fated That '80s Show. Instead, "That '90s Show" is a direct sequel to "That '70's Show" and illustrates what it means to grow up named after a Star Wars character. Yes, "That '90s Show" features Leia Forman, Eric and Donna's teenage daughter.

During the summer, Leia visits her grandparents in Point Place, takes a long tour of the basement where her father spent so much time in the '70s, and makes friends with the sons of two of her father's friends.

No need to wait any longer; Netflix launched "That '90s Show" today (Thursday, January 19); the 10-episode season is available in the US 3 a.m. Eastern Time/12 a.m. Pacific Time/8 a.m. Japan Time, and 7 p.m. Eastern Time in Australia.

Interestingly, at this point, less than two days before the series airs, no reviews have been posted for That '90s Show. This suggests that Netflix has placed an embargo closer to the series' release date than expected. There is no positive word on how this will affect its chances of becoming one of the best shows on Netflix.

Callie Haverda will play Leia Forman, and Topher Grace and Laura Prepon will reprise their roles as her parents, Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will be on hand as Red Forman and Kitty Forman. Donna's father Bob (Don Stark) will also return.
