Huge Motorola Razr2023 Leak Spilled all specifications

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is scheduled to launch tomorrow, June 1, but before it does, what appears to be a spec sheet for the phone has been leaked in full.

Leaker SnoopyTech has posted a fairly official-looking image of the Razer 40 Ultra, along with the specs. In any case, the specs shown are comprehensive.

Despite being in Italian, even those who do not speak that language can understand the information here. And the details, for better or worse, are generally consistent with what we have heard so far about the Razr 40 Ultra.

According to this sheet, we are looking at a phone with a 6.9-inch internal OLED display, with a resolution of FHD+, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and HDR10 Plus support. The external display is a 3.6-inch OLED with a 144 Hz refresh rate and appears to be made of "Gorilla Glass 7," or Gorilla Glass Victus.

These specs are quite interesting because they diverge from the rumors. In particular, the cover display is slightly larger than the rumored 3.5" screen. The internal screen is also 0.2" larger and has a much higher refresh rate than the Moto Razr 2022's 144 Hz display.

165Hz is premium gaming phone territory, but whether the Razr 40 Ultra can handle high-spec mobile gaming is another matter, although the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 Plus has been replaced by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, It is a good enough slice of silicon and shows that the next generation Rar will have some gaming power.

However, do not expect it to beat Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is rumored to be available this summer, and will likely use a Gen 2 chip like the Galaxy S23 series before it.

Other specs include 8GB of RAM, 256GB of non-expandable storage, 5G, Wi-Fi 6e, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, 3,800mAh battery, 33W wired charging, and 5W wireless charging.

The foldable phone is expected to run Android 13 right out of the box. And according to this leak, it has IP52 water and dust resistance, which is not particularly great, so try to keep this device away from water.

Unfortunately, the dual-lens rear camera setup is so far uninspiring. This year's Razr reportedly has a 12MP main lens with OIS (f/1.5) and a 13MP ultra-wide lens capable of macro shots. This is a fairly low resolution for a premium smartphone camera, considerably lower than the Moto Razr 2022's 50MP main camera lens. The 32MP resolution of the selfie camera appears to be unchanged from last year.

Raw camera specs are not everything, and with software improvements, the Moto Razer 40 Ultra could produce more impressive results than its middling snapper specs suggest.

Colors that will be available for sale appear to include "Infinite Black," "Glacier Blue," and "Viva Magenta." At least that appears to be the case in Italy and Europe.

The spec sheet certainly paints an interesting picture of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra. In the meantime, you can get the latest rumors and news at the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra hub.
