The rumored40 price tag for the Moto razr1,000ultra is a positive move against the Galaxy Z Flip5

91Mobiles Hindi reports that the price of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has been leaked. As explained in a follow-up report by 91Mobiles in English, Moto may be asking $1,000 in return for the privilege of owning its latest foldable phone.

This would be a lower price than expected given some of the leaked specs. In the UK, there is also the excellent Oppo Find N2 Flip, attractively priced at £849 compared to the £999 Z Flip 4.

91Mobiles' report has no information on the price or specs of the other rumored model, the standard or Lite Razr 40. We have to imagine that it will be at least a little cheaper than the Ultra model, and in return will have weaker specs

On that note, the rumors so far indicate that the Razr 40 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 120Hz refresh rate, and is said to offer a 6.7-inch main display with a fairly large 3.4-inch cover display. For photography, there will be a 32MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP inner selfie camera, with power and charging provided by a 3,500mAh battery and a 33W wired power brick, respectively. [If the Razr 40 Ultra starts with 256GB of storage instead of 128GB like the Galaxy Z Flip 4, it will have a slight price lead; a 256GB on the Z Flip will cost $1,060.

Motorola's new line of Razr's failed to take much of the foldable phone market from Samsung, but the Razr 40 looks to finally turn things around with a competitive price and strong specs. The only drawback is that Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the coming months. This could put the new Razr in an uphill battle despite the upgrades.

Motorola has teased that the Razr 40 will arrive on June 1. We could soon confirm or deny these rumors and hopefully get our first hands-on with this revamped flip phone.
