I just first saw Ahsoka's official Lego set for Disney Plus at sdcc

The premiere of "Ahsoka" on Disney Plus is just around the corner. The highly anticipated live-action series starring Rosario Dawson will premiere on August 23, and what better way to build excitement than with the first official LEGO set inspired by the show? We just saw the first Ahsoka LEGO set on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2023.

As part of SDCC, Lego unveiled a number of new sets across its major partner franchises, but any Star Wars fan like myself is most excited about what the two Ahsoka sets will hint at for future stories.

Recent trailers for Ahsoka have painted a clearer picture of Ahsoka being a sequel to Disney XD's animated series "Star Wars: Rebels," and the Lego sets confirm this. Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle ($79.99, pre-order at Lego) comes with four minifigs, including Sabine Wren, one of the main Rebel characters.

Joining Ahsoka and Sabine are Professor Huyan, an architectural droid from The Clone Wars who helps children build lightsabers, and Marok, an inquisitor who will likely be the show's main villain.

The shuttle comes with a minifig-sized cockpit, two stud shooters, and two storage compartments. From what I've seen in person, this 601-block set is going to be a fun build, distinctly different from other LEGO Star Wars ships. [1,056 blocks will get you two ships and four minifigs from the Ahsoka series.

Baylan Skol and his apprentice Sin Hathi, displayed under Sin Hathi's starfighter, are likely to be further enemies of Ahsoka, while Morgan Elsbeth will surely meddle in the search for the missing Grand Admiral Sloane.

Captain Porter and the yellow and blue New Republic astromech droids with the New Republic E-Wing seem ready to take on the bad guys. Porter is a new Star Wars character in Ahsoka, so we'll find out his backstory in the near future.
