Top of 9 New Movies to watch on Netflix, Apple TV Plus and more (7/17-23)

Summer streaming options continue to grow with the biggest new movies to watch online this week. We have 9 big movies from super-hot comic book movies to sports biographies, with some very interesting other movies you may not have noticed coming in from the edge. And they include a very important documentary and drama that critics praise as one of the best of the year.

In the "fresh from the theatre" category, there are 2 better works with the home audience. Initially in DC's The Flash, it was praised by some critics, but failed to achieve success. Then we got a new family-friendly animated adventure that might have spawned a new series.

On Netflix, the fact that big red streaming machine play is still one of the best streaming services is underpinned by 1 in 2 very different movies. The Healing Jamie Foxx stars in the sci-fi Blaxploitation movie, and the deep-sea diving documentary looks just as thrilling.

Apple TV Plus joins the trend of sports documentaries with its Steph Curry movies, and those who love to get meta, we also have a new documentary about the Shark horror genre that looks like a must-see.

Andy Muschietti's The Flash felt like one of the films that would never come out 1. First, there were all delays. Then the star Ezra Miller was repeatedly executed by law.

Eventually, DC began screening the film, following the rave reviews of the new DCU headphone Cho James Gunn about its superior quality. And, as you may have heard, it tanked at the box office. Worse than black adam. But it is possible that the flash will work well at home (if not now, with Max when it will arrive there in the coming weeks and months).

As for the film itself. Well, Barry Allen (Miller) aka Flash, the only hero he can help Barry shake our world into a failed state ripe for general Zod (Michael Shannon) to ruin things is Batman (Michael Keaton). Oh, and the other Batman (Ben Affleck) is also around. As with Supergirl (Sasha Kare), so is the 2nd Flash (Mirror, again).

Ruby (Lana Condor Of The All The Boys films) has experienced a fairly standard amount of high school drama. She wants to fit, she has unrequited love for the skater guy she is coaching, and she feels invisible. Well, the good news is that there is a solution for that last part.

She turned out to be the latest in a long lineage of Kraken warriors growing to huge sizes. Now we speculate that understanding her power will be the key to understanding how to live a life she can enjoy. The voice cast includes Annie Murphy, Jane Fonda and Will Forte.
