iPhone15 design just tipped for all 4 models - and the pro wins again

The differences between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro displays are deftly explained in a new leak from Ice Universe.

The IU images show what we expect to be the front glass and corresponding screen protector for all four iPhone 15 models. And as we have heard before, all models feature a Dynamic Island instead of a notch to house the selfie camera and Face ID sensor. After nearly six years of notched iPhones, this may be the end of Apple's flagship smartphone with this distinctive design this year.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, as well as the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max, are the same size, except for a slight change due to rounded edges, according to leaked information, although IU photos do not list dimensions, The regular iPhone and Pro appear to be 6.1", while the Plus and Pro Max are 6.7".

A closer look at the images reveals a difference between the regular and Pro displays: the narrower display edges on the iPhone 15 Pro mean that Apple can fit more display in the same space or reduce the overall dimensions of the phone without reducing the screen area.

iPhone 15

We have heard rumors before about the iPhone 15 Pro's smaller bezels. One source claims that when the iPhone 15 is released, the bezels could be the slimmest of any smartphone, which would be quite a feat.

Once the iPhone 15 is released, several other updates will be added to the iPhone 15 lineup. Apple will reportedly add a USB-C port to the iPhone 15 in place of the good old Lightning port and replace the mute slider with a customizable action button.

However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to feature a unique periscope telephoto camera for enhanced zooming power. And both iPhone 15 Pro models could feature a new titanium design that is tougher and lighter. iPhone 15 Pro is also said to feature the faster A17 Bionic chip, the world's first chip made with a 3nm manufacturing process.

And this is on top of other iPhone 15 Pro vs. iPhone 15 advantages that will likely continue from the iPhone 14 series. This includes features such as an always-on display and 120 Hz refresh rate for the Pro. The thinner bezel revealed in this leak may just be the cherry on top.
