Boys Season 4 has added 6 new cast members– Here's what we know

With "The Boys" Season 4 possibly being postponed, it's a good time to review the ever-growing cast of characters. Our expectations for these characters are quite high, as this series on Prime Video has proven to be very good at providing fans with multi-faceted characters that blur the lines between good and evil (sometimes literally).

Over the course of three seasons, we have lost characters like Crimson Countess (Laurie Holden) and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) who we have come to hate and love. And while many members survived last season (where are you, Soldier Boy?), there will be more room at the table next season. [This is because Ryan Butcher, played by Cameron Crovetti, has been promoted from regular to series regular! The list of new cast members includes a familiar star, two new superheroes, and an actor whose role has yet to be announced. Here's what we know so far.

Sister Sage (Susan Hayward) is a super whose powers and abilities have yet to be announced. Her costume features an upside-down "Eye of Providence," which might lead one to believe that something sacred is going on. From her name and the following description, it seems she can think (or perhaps move) faster than most.

Sage wrote on The Boys' Instagram on August 1, 2022, "Meet Sage. She is already a thousand steps ahead of you." Don't bother checking out the comic to learn more about her. Like Firecracker (below), she was made purely for the series.

Firecracker is another superhero whose abilities have yet to be revealed, but showrunner Eric Kripki promises that both of these new characters are "the best & craziest ever written" for The Boys.

Firecracker (seen above) carries a holstered pistol, making him one of the few superheroes seen using or carrying a weapon: "Let's just say this Firecracker has a short fuse."

Huey Campbell's mother was believed by fans to have died many years ago, but in the season 2 finale it was revealed that she simply abandoned Campbell and his father when he was six years old.

Deadline broke the news that Rosemarie Dewitt would play Huey's mother.

Deadline also revealed that American Gothic star Elliot Knight and Supernatural's Rob Benedict have joined the cast in currently unannounced roles, but the bigger news was revealed by Karl Urban in the Instagram post above As he revealed in the Instagram post above, "The Walking Dead" favorite Jeffrey Dean Morgan will also be joining the cast.
