The most dangerous mission of all begins now as Tom Clancy's "Jack Ryan" Season 4 is now online on Prime Video. The action thriller enters its final chapter as the CIA agent, played by John Krasinski, faces enemies both internal and external.

In the fourth and final season, Jack becomes the CIA's new Acting Deputy Director and is charged with unraveling internal corruption. As a result, he is led into a series of suspicious black ops that could expose the country's vulnerabilities.

As Jack and his team investigate the depths of the corruption, he discovers something even worse. The conspiracy is much closer to home than he thought, and Jack's belief in the system he has always fought to protect is tested.

The first two episodes were released today, Friday, June 30, at 12:01 a.m. ET / 9:01 p.m. PT / 5:01 a.m. BST / 2:01 p.m. AEST.

Season 4 has six episodes. The remaining two episodes will be available every Friday until July 14.

Currently, Jack Ryan Season 4 has only a handful of reviews, so Rotten Tomatoes' rating has yet to be determined. However, critics who have seen the final episode of the series have given it mostly positive reviews.

The Wrap's Zaki Hasan wrote, "It's great to have him back - even if only to say goodbye," adding that "[John] Krasinski has left an indelible mark on the character's legacy."

Collider's Tania Hussain described the final season as "a strong finish with an energetic story that continues to surprise." However, Hussain notes that "aside from the great performances and characters that make the final season so exciting, the script at times falls a bit short in its delivery."

ReadySteadyCut's Adam Rock was a bit more downbeat about the final episodes, noting, "Fans of the series may be disappointed by the fluctuating quality of the show, but it still improved toward the end. Unfortunately, the writers tend to spend too much time developing the story and rely too much on silly plot twists and overdone spy clichés."

The show's final episode, "The Last of the Spies," was a bit of a disappointment, as it was the first time the show had been shown in a full-length episode.
