The Witcher Season 3 Part 1 Release Date and Time — How to Watch on Netflix Now

Spare a coin? You have to throw one coin at Netflix to watch The Witcher Season 3 Part 1 and another one a month later to watch The Witcher Season 3 Part 2. This week's portion is five episodes that mark the beginning of the end of Henry Cavill's "The Witcher" era.

The big storyline of The Witcher Season 3 is that everyone knows that Siri (Freya Allan) is of Elder blood. In Season 2, Geralt (Henry Cavill) did everything he could to protect her, but now he is beginning to realize that the task may not be as easy to accomplish as he thought.

Part of this has to do with the "white fire" that has been foretold since the knight Cahill (Eamon Farren) warned Tisaia (Myanna Buring) of the cleansing. Later, we learn that Emhill (Bert Edwards), the ruler of Nilgard, is the White Flame and is hunting down his daughter, Siri. More on this in our review of The Witcher Season 3 Part 1.

Meanwhile, Thiassiah has put a bounty on the heads of Siri and those who protect her. And while Siri is trained to defend herself, there are more threats against her. The Wild Hunt (a dangerous group of elves from another dying world in the books and games) has arrived.

"Neutrality," says Geralt, "certainly helps keep you alive." Unfortunately, however, Jasker (Joey Beatty) tells Geralt that neutrality is not the magic key to success.

Worse, Geralt agrees with Jasker. How unusual. The trailer pushes Geralt's fear of what is about to happen and, interestingly, Siri says, "We are the Witcher."
