Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Network has signed a deal to distribute four new family-friendly series on Max. All of these shows, which will appear on the streaming service next year, are intended to provide an experience for both children and adults.

Below is a list of all the programs announced that will be broadcast in early 2024.

The first of the newly announced shows, tentatively titled "Second Chance Stage," will give contestants who have decided to give up their dreams for a more secure life a chance to reaffirm them and compete for their big break.

"Humans vs. Hamsters" is a series of competitions in which real-life humans compete against hamsters for strength and agility. Its objective? To determine "which is the superior species.

"Back to the Frontier" (tentative title) contracts families accustomed to the comforts of 2023 to live as pioneers in the 1800s.

So far, no judges or hosts for the show have been announced, but more details will be forthcoming. The two companies also did not share exactly when the show will begin streaming next year. [Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines rose to stardom with their show "Fixer Upper" on HGTV. The Gaineses later launched the Magnolia Network in a joint venture with Warner Bros. Discovery in 2021. The network's series are available on Magnolia.com, Discovery+, and Max. Magnolia Network programming includes Gaines' Fixer Upper, as well as Lunch to Table, Family Dinner, and Barnwood Builders.

Allison Page, president of Magnolia Network, said in a statement, "We are excited to announce a fun and wide-ranging new group of shows that are intended to bring families together for an engaging, playful, and inspiring communal viewing experience."

The Gaineses also hinted that other concepts may eventually find their way to Max. In a statement, they called the Max deal an "expansion" of their family-first vision and said they have "many more ideas to come."
