If you're looking for a prestige, thrilling spy thriller. Based on John le Carré's novel of the same name, "The Night Manager" stars Tom Hiddleston as Jonathan Pine, a former British soldier and hotel night auditor who infiltrates the inner circle of international arms dealer Richard Roper, played by Hugh Laurie. The series also stars Olivia Colman. Angela Barr is a Foreign Office agent who initially brings Pine into the mission, determined to bring Roper down by any means necessary.

As Pine is drawn deeper into Roper's world, he faces complex moral dilemmas that test his loyalty, especially with regard to the mysterious Barr. The miniseries received critical acclaim upon its release, winning three Golden Globes (one for each of the three leads) and a Primetime Emmy for director Susanne Bier.

Adapted from the novel of the same name, the 2023 miniseries "Daisy Jones & the Six" tells the story of the fictional band that rose to fame in the 1970s The 10-episode series stars Daisy Jones as Riley Keough as Riley Keough and Sam Claflin as Billy Dunn, whose intertwined personal and artistic chemistry propelled the initially unknown band to unparalleled fame, ultimately leading to the band's sudden dissolution after a fateful concert.

Taylor Jenkins Reid, who wrote the novel on which the series is based, has said that part of the story was inspired by his experience growing up watching Fleetwood Mac perform on television in this compelling drama for classic rock fans, must notice the parallels between the fictional band and the real-life inspiration.

"Tales from the Loop" is an eight-episode science fiction series that focuses on the lives of small town residents living near the fictional town of Mercer, Ohio, built near "The Loop," a mysterious underground facility that "makes the impossible possible." The 2020 series is based on concept artwork by Swedish artist Simon Stollenhag, and each episode tells a self-contained story that focuses on a different resident of the town while interconnecting with the larger mystery that is The Loop.

The show explores a variety of science fiction and philosophical themes, including loneliness, aging, and the results of scientific experiments. While fans are clamoring for spin-offs and sequels, the current "Tales from the Loop" is a self-contained story in its own right, a haunting and engaging work that science fiction fans will not want to miss.

Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace has been adapted many times for both television and film, but few have captured the essence of this epic novel as well as the 2016 War and Peace BBC miniseries (in six parts). Starring Paul Dano as Pierre Bezukhov, James Norton as Andrei Bolkonsky, and Lily James as Natasha Rostova, the series was critically acclaimed not only for its spectacular production values but also for its strong character-driven content.

No series has ever truly captured the full scope of Tolstoy's epic wartime saga of love and loss, but this miniseries comes remarkably close. In fact, The Telegraph has named it one of the best film adaptations of all time, making it a miniseries that literature fans should not miss.

A League of Their Own, another take on the 1992 film of the same name, centers on the formation of the first professional women's baseball league in the midst of World War II and features Abby Jacobson ("Disenchantment," Broad City) and Chante Adams ("Roxanne Roxanne") star in the film. After her husband goes off to the front lines, Carson Shaw (Jacobson) leaves her small town to pursue her dream of becoming a professional baseball player and crosses paths with Maxine Chapman (Adams), an eager baseball player who was turned down for a tryout because of her skin color.

Although the show was sadly cancelled after one season, it was loved by critics for its diverse perspectives, incorporation of LGBTQ+ relationships and representation, and superb performances from its talented cast.

When it comes to multi-level marketing companies, Roureau is one of the most notorious. In this documentary, which delves deep into this viral clothing empire accused of being a Ponzi scheme, LuLaRich uses testimonies from former employees, sellers, and even the company owners themselves, as well as interviews with researchers specializing in MLM schemes, to show the LuLaRoe machine in motion paints a comprehensive picture of the hubris and greed that is at work. It is a surreal tale of capitalism gone mad, a wild ride from start to finish.
