The Galaxy S24 Ultra may be months away, at least if the latest rumors of an earlier-than-usual launch are accurate. But that hasn't stopped leakers from sharing images that they claim show what Samsung's premium flagship will look like when it arrives in 2024.

The most compelling images come from the famous leaker Ice Universe, who took to Chinese social media site Weibo to post what they described as pictures of "Samsung S24 series protective cases." The five images focus on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which looks a lot like the Galaxy S23 Ultra it replaces.

Like Samsung's current Ultra, the Galaxy S24 Ultra appears to feature two rows of camera lenses stacked vertically; assuming the S24 Ultra retains the current model's setup, the left-hand row would feature the main camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera. The left-hand row would feature the main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera. On the left side would be a second telephoto lens with autofocus sensor and LED flash.

If accurate, this would seem to confirm several rumors about Samsung's plans for the Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera setup. Some rumors suggest that Samsung may integrate the two telephoto lenses into a single camera with a variable focal length for smoother zooming. [Recent S24 Ultra camera rumors claim that Ice Universe will feature a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x zoom. This would be a change from the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which featured 10MP telephoto cameras with 3x and 10x zoom, respectively.

According to case photos posted by Ice Universe, the S24 Ultra's case appears to be slightly less rounded than the S23 Ultra. This may suggest that next year's phone will have a more square design.

For what it's worth, the leaked case photo has a lot in common with the new Galaxy S24 Ultra concept design released by TenizoConcept in conjunction with Super Roder; as discovered by Sammobile, the concept design was utilizes a CAD design previously posted for the Galaxy s24 Ultra.

As such, the YouTube video showcasing the S24 Ultra concept design is not as fanciful as this one, and is a more orthodox design for a Samsung phone. In addition to the multiple cameras and square design, the video also shows the included S Pen in the same color as the phone.

Galaxy S24 release date rumors suggest that the S24 Ultra will join the rest of the Galaxy S24 lineup and will be available in January; the S24 Ultra is said to have titanium sides, referencing similar features of the iPhone 15 Pro. Additionally, the phone will likely run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset that Qualcomm announced last month.
