With each new week and new month comes a new movie streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, and other streaming services.

The biggest new streaming movie this week is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to 2018's blockbuster animated hit. Miles Morales returns, but a new threat forces him to jump between different versions of Earth and team up again with Gwen Stacy.

The spooky season gets a final boost with the digital release of The Curse of Venice, the latest Agatha Christie adaptation. New streaming movies this week include the kid-friendly "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie" and the sprawling comedy "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3": this week's new streaming movies include the kid-friendly "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Sylvester Stallone documentary "Sly," among others.

Some titles are newly available via digital release so you can purchase them at premium prices, while for others all you need is a proper streaming subscription. Below are the top new movies available for streaming this week.

Renowned detective Hercule Poirot is back on the case in the latest Agatha Christie adaptation, directed by Kenneth Branagh. Poirot, living in hiding in Venice, is interrupted on Halloween by mystery writer Ariadne Oliver (Tina Fey). She convinces Poirot to attend a séance at the haunted mansion of famous opera singer Rowena Drake to expose medium Joyce Reynolds (Michelle Yeoh) as a fraud. But one of the guests is murdered, and Poirot once again dons his detective hat and wades into deep waters filled with secrets. - KW

PAW Patrol puppies get super powers in this sequel to the 2021 film. Two years after saving Adventure City from Mayor Hundinger, Skye (McKenna Grace) and her team encounter a new threat. Mad scientist Victoria Vance (Taraji P. Henson) has crash-landed a magical meteor in the city. The meteor contained crystals that granted powers such as strength and flight. But when Vance and Handinger plot to steal its power and become supervillains, the Mighty Pups must stop them before it is too late. - KW

This sequel to 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is nothing short of an eye-popping spectacle. After a heartwarming reunion with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), Brooklyn-based Spider-Man Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) crosses dimensions and meets an array of spider-people tasked with protecting the multiverse. As the heroes converge, they struggle with disagreements about how to deal with the looming threat, and Miles finds himself at odds with his new friends. Anna (Jessie Buckley) is a teacher in a long term relationship with Ryan (Jeremy Allen White). Their stable and in some ways "boring" lives take a strange turn when Anna secretly joins the Love Institute, a place that takes romantic compatibility to a whole new level. There, love is put to the test through bizarre lessons and strange methods involving fingernails. Anna, along with her new colleague Amir (Riz Ahmed), helps the couple survive the tests at the institute, but an attraction grows between them that goes beyond that. - BV

Toula is looking for a connection to the past, Aunt Voula (Andrea Martin) is looking for romance in Paris, and Ian just wants a pure escape from reality.
