I've tested dozens of the best wireless earbuds, and sometimes my favorite pair surprises people. For example, I often choose Sony's LinkBuds S over many expensive earbuds. Now that the new Olivia Rodrigo-tuned, violet-colored models are available, that trend is likely to intensify.

Not only do they have a purple marbled look, but they also come pre-installed with custom EQ for listening to Rodrigo's albums "GUTS" and "SOUR."

Currently available for $199, the same price as other LinkBuds S colors, the Olivia Rodrigo-branded Buds are targeted at people who might regularly listen to the singer's first and second albums. Now, do I think the Sony LinkBuds S are the best earphones? Not really, considering that Sony's own Sony WF-1000XM5 is probably the best earbuds ever released. I'm also a big fan of the new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, and the AirPods Pro 2 are always in my rotation.

But for fans of Olivia Rodrigo who might need new wireless earbuds under $200, it's easy to recommend her limited edition version of the LinkBuds S.
