More romantic drama than comedy, Up in the Air is a surprising contender for Netflix's Best Romantic Comedy. In this book-to-movie adaptation, George Clooney plays Ryan Bingham. When Natalie Keener, played by Anna Kendrick, appears, she interrupts everything by introducing a new technology that sends Bingham home.

When Ryan Bingham, played by George Clooney, meets Alex Golan (Vera Farmiga), he finds himself attracted to a woman whose lifestyle rivals that of a jet-setter. The film takes a turn into a romantic comedy when the two discover they have a special synergy, despite never having spent much time in the same city.
