[Documentary fans will also not want to miss the new nature series "Life on Our Planet," narrated by Morgan Freeman and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. In addition, "Yellow Door: '90s Lo-fi Film Club" explores the popularity of Korean cinema and a unique film club whose members include Oscar winner Pong Joon-ho.

One can't help but root for him in such an understated way. His latest special, I Am Not for Everyone, may not knock you over with cutting-edge humor, but it will make you laugh. Naoki Urasawa and Naoshi Nagasaki's long-awaited anime adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's version of "Astro Boy". Europol dispatches robot detective Gejito (Jay Russ) to investigate human and robot murders around the world. Each of the victims has the eerie feature of horn-like protrusions on their skulls. Eventually, Gesicht discovers that the killer is a robot. That changes everything and further complicates matters. With humans defending the rights of robots and seven of the world's most advanced robots, including Gesicht, on the assassination list, the race is on for Gesicht to find out the identity of the killer before it is too late. - BV

The explosive popularity of Korean films and TV shows can be traced back to the 1990s, when film clubs sprang up on Korean campuses, giving young students a creative outlet. One such club was the Yellow Door Film Club, of which eventual Oscar winner Pon Joon-ho was a member.
