Stylish and colorful, these Mac/MacBook monitors are just what creators need.

Mac and MacBook users looking to get creative with photo editing, color grading for movies, and other creative tasks know that their choices for external monitors are limited: Apple's $1,599 Studio Display or LG's 32UL950 Ultra-wide. Right, BenQ has something to say about that; BenQ offers three types of monitors, giving Mac users a choice of sizes and formats, while providing the fine-tuned color and appearance that Apple is known for.

BenQ has been making monitors for the Mac that meet the needs of creative professionals and hobbyists for displays. At the forefront of this is a display that is big and sharp, that matches exactly the colors expected from a Mac and can even stand alongside the visuals displayed on a MacBook. To that end, BenQ's monitors have Mac-specific modes.

This special Mac-only color mode is designed to work seamlessly with your system, matching colors between your MacBook display and your creativity-focused monitor. Color space, gamma, dynamic contrast, and color temperature are all taken into account.

This seamless color matching can be seen on three monitors from BenQ: the PD2725U, PD3220U, and PD3420Q; the PD2725U, PD3220U, and PD3420Q; and the PD3220U, PD3220U, and PD3420Q. Each monitor is slightly different, but all have important features that Mac creators can benefit from.

The PD2725U and PD3220U are 27-inch and 32-inch monitors, respectively, offering sharp 4K UHD resolution to display fine details important in design and photo/video editing; the PD3420Q is a 34-inch ultrawide monitor with horizontal screen space and has a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440.

Essential for graphics and design work, all three monitors offer a wide color gamut that covers 100% of the sRGB color space and over 95% of the DCI-P3 color space (98% for the PD3420Q), with backlighting specially tweaked for uniform color reproduction from corner to corner The P3000Q uses a backlight that is specially fine-tuned for uniform color reproduction from corner to corner. This is an important part of its ability to match Mac colors. In addition, BenQ DisplayPilot's ICCsync feature allows the monitor to automatically switch ICC profiles to match whatever is selected on the Mac or MacBook.

When connecting a Mac or MacBook to a BenQ monitor, these models offer an elegant solution. Each model supports a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 connection (upward compatible with Thunderbolt 4 devices) to handle video signals, data signals, and power. This connection can also function as a daisy chain to other monitors, allowing a MacBook to connect to a BenQ monitor, attach peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse, and provide up to 85 watts of power (65 watts for PD2725U and PD3420Q) with just a single cable. The result is a very clean workspace. When pairing the monitor with multiple devices, such as a MacBook and Mac Mini, the monitor also has a KVM switch, so peripherals connected to the monitor can swap which computer they are communicating with.

To further optimize your workspace, these three BenQ monitors come with a powerful stand for flexible ergonomics. This ergonomic stand is not an expensive upgrade like the stand on the Mac Studio Display, but comes standard with these monitors at no extra charge. You can adjust the height, tilt, angle, and swivel of these monitors to find the ideal placement for your work.

In addition, these monitors also feature a hotkey pack that allows users to switch between color modes at the touch of a button.
