AEW WrestleDream 2023 live stream: start time, card, how to watch online

The clock is ticking to watch the live stream of AEW WrestleDream 2023, the highly anticipated matchup between Zach Sabre Jr. and Bryan Danielson.

All Elite Wrestling has had a very busy schedule as of late. In addition to our regular weekly shows Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision, we had two great events at the end of the summer: the record-breaking All In at Wembley Stadium in London and the annual All Out in Chicago, Illinois. But just a few weeks after the last premium live event, Tony Kahn and friends paid tribute to the legendary Antonio Inoki by putting on a show on the first anniversary of his death. Thus AEW WrestleDream was born.

On October 1, the first WrestleDream will originate from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. With such a large show taking place in the Pacific Northwest, it makes sense to spotlight one of the region's favorites to headline the event in a Dream Match. Zack Sabre, Jr. will finally go one-on-one with Bryan Danielson.

Of course, this is not the only highly anticipated match on the card. With world-renowned talent such as the Lucha Brothers, Katsuyori Shibata, Aussie Open, The Elite, Will Ospreay, and Orange Cassidy scheduled to appear, WrestleDream should be a dream come true for wrestling fans. But before the festivities kick off this weekend, here's how to watch AEW WrestleDream and what to expect when the event opens.

ZSJ vs. "American Dragon" is obviously a dream scenario. And as a show called WrestleDream, it is meant to be stacked with other dream matches. But for Maxwell Jacob Friedman, it could be a nightmare. Previously, the AEW World Champion was scheduled to team up with Better Than You Baybay partner Adam Cole to defend the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships against The Righteous. However, Cole was injured and was not cleared to compete.

However, instead of giving the titles to Vincent and Dutch, MJF opted to go it alone against the challengers. A man in his situation might have another friend on his side, but Champion has said time and time again that he is a scumbag with few friends. Unless he splashes the big bucks and hires backup (which he has done many times in the past), even a self-proclaimed devil would have a hard time contending with a sadistic person who happens to be a former champion.

Another dream match at WrestleDream has many people saying, "Yeah, right. Dream. That's because the legendary Chris Jericho is teaming up with longtime rivals Kenny Omega and Kota Iibushi to face Don Callis' new cronies. But as the old saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Callis has been successful of late in making famous enemies by stabbing those he supposedly cares about in the back. He is fortunate to have such great talents as Konoskle Takeshita, Sammy Guevara, and Will Osprey backing him up. Will Jericho's desire for revenge against his former friends or the Golden Lovers' undying devotion to each other be enough to overcome the excremental incarnation that is Kalis and his goons? For the most dynamic wrestlers in the entire world will clash in this deeply personal contest.

And you can't dream without Eddie Kingston. This no-nonsense brawler is having a dream year as a pro. After fulfilling a longtime dream by winning the New Japan Strong Openweight Championship and competing in the esteemed G1 Tournament, "Mad King" settled his longtime rivalry with Claudio Castagnoli and defeated him for the Ring of Honor World Championship in a grueling title vs. He defeated Claudio Castagnoli in a grueling championship match for the Ring of Honor World Championship. But now that he is a two-time champion, Kingston is being targeted by twice as many rivals: Katsuyori Shibata." The "wrestler" currently holds the Ring of Honor pure title, but apparently he'd rather be draped in gold these days. With both of Kingston's titles on the line, there is no doubt that if Shibata wins, that dream will become a reality. Nevertheless, Kingston is not going down without a fight either. The difference in their styles will surely make for a very interesting match on Sunday when these two meet.
