The Golden Bachelor online and the roses are shining golden tonight. It's only been a month since the 20th season of The Bachelorette came to its romantic conclusion, but already The Bachelor has more to offer. A new spin-off, "The Golden Bachelor," debuted on ABC and is about to change the game.

Indiana widower Jerry Turner will be the show's first 72-year-old leading man. The show will also replace younger bachelors with older women between the ages of 60 and 75, whom Turner will court. Turner will meet 22 "golden ladies," dating and getting to know each one of them intimately, eliminating candidates week by week. The last contestant gets to propose. And then what? And then what?

Host Jesse Palmer returns to guide Turner and each contestant, but he hints that the stakes may be higher this time given the "resilience" of the older performers and the experience they bring to the table.

Turner is looking for his second love since the death of his wife Toni six years ago. Who knows if he will find the right woman, but it should be fun to watch it all unfold.
