TCL's new 50-inch 4K TV is here - and it's ridiculously cheap!

TCL's full lineup of TVs, which debuted at CES 2023 in January, is finally available for purchase.

Among the TVs available for purchase today is the TCL S4. Like its predecessor, the TCL S4 has a screen size of 50 inches and is already available on Amazon for $280.

If you are looking for something larger, the TCL Q6 is available in 55", 65", and 75" screen sizes, starting at $448 after a $50 discount on Amazon; while not a successor to the TCL 5 series, it has many similarities, including QLED panels.

Finally, if you want something even smaller than the S4, there is the S3 series, which includes 32- and 43-inch models for $138 and $199, respectively. The resolution is lower and they use Roku TV instead of Google TV like the Q6 and S4, but at this price and size, it's not a deal-breaker.

The TCL model released today is the more affordable half of the TCL 2023 TV lineup.

As you may know, the TCL QM8 is the top model in the lineup, recording 2,200 in HDR, higher than the top two models from Samsung and Hisense The QM8 is not cheap, starting at $1,199, but it has a 65-inch screen size with a mini LED panel.

If you really want to stretch your budget, there is also a 98-inch TCL QM8 model with over 2,300 local dimming zones for $6,999 at Best Buy. For some reason, you can get it for $5,000 less, but this won't last long.

TCL certainly has the price and screen size covered in its 2023 lineup, but will it stand up to stiff competition from Hisense's 2023 TV lineup and the award-winning Hisense U8K model? Only time will tell.
