The OnePlus 12's U.S. price and release date have not yet been set, and an announcement is expected next month. However, the phone itself should not pack many surprises, as it was already unveiled in the Chinese market earlier this month.

91mobiles and leaker Ishan Agarwal investigated the company's release plans for India and found that only two configurations will be available, one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and the other with 16GB memory and 512GB capacity. The top-of-the-line Chinese model (with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which is a bit odd) is nowhere to be found.

This pattern is likely to be repeated in other countries, as India has adopted a global model.

By 2024, 24GB of RAM will likely be wasted in a smartphone, and the 12GB found in the regular models will suffice. After all, this is up there with the Pixel 8 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, two of the best Android phones you can buy today.
