Cyclocross is heating up for the Christmas season. Big-name riders such as Tom Pidcock, Wout Van Art, and Mathieu Van Der Pol have been battling it out since mid-October. We are all ready. There's just one problem: there is no GCN+. So how can you watch the cyclocross live stream now that GCN+ is gone?

Not only will the level of cyclocross competition increase, but races will be held every couple of days to keep beer-addicted Belgians and Dutchmen entertained throughout Christmas.

For Europeans, free cyclocross live streaming, Eurosport and Discovery Plus are available. But what about cycling fans in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and elsewhere?

Even now that cycling streaming specialist GCN+ has pulled out, there are viewing options in most regions, as long as you know where to look. And if you happen to be traveling away from home, you can always jump on streaming from other regions using a VPN.

The 12th round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup took place in Sonnhofen Belgium on a notorious course with a huge sandy descent. Mathieu Van der Pol put in a 10-round performance to see if he could make it 10 wins from 10 races.

Series leader Eli Iserbitt, who had been sick for the past week, did not race but went out to defend his position, and at the start of lap 4 an elite group of 8 riders were in front of him, but a few minutes later Van der Pol jumped out in front.

He pulled away from the pack as if he were standing still, his imposing run sending shivers down the spines of those watching, and after one lap he was 13 seconds ahead of Joris Nieuwenhuis and the three behind him, Pim Lonhar, Laurens Sweck, and Thune Vandebosch. 2 Nieuwenhuys was second and Sweck third. Iserbyt finished sixth, further extending his series point lead.

The next round will be the National Championship on the weekend of January 14 and 15. They will then face each other again on January 20 at Kasteelcross, the fifth round of the Exacto Cross in Zonnebeke. Race Start 15.00 (CET)

Residents in Italy, Belgium, and France can enjoy a free cyclocross live stream.

Rai Sport in Italy, Sporza in Belgium, and FranceTV in France have the rights to broadcast some of the races for free. Not all races will be broadcast, but they are good places to watch, and this page will be updated with specific broadcast information on upcoming races.

But what if you are in another country at the time of the race and will not be home to watch the free cyclocross coverage?

With the discontinuation of GCN+, there is no need to panic as live cyclocross coverage will continue on Eurosport and Discovery+. It appears that all the same races will be covered by the usual commentators featured on GCN+.

At the time of writing, no Australian broadcaster appears to have acquired the rights to live stream cyclocross races in Australia since the closure of GCN+.

World Champion Van der Pol will defend his Rainbow Band against Van Aar and Pidcock in Antwerp on December 23, Gavere on December 26, and Hulst on December 30.

These are the only three World Cup races in which the "Big Three" will meet, but they will clash again in Round 5 of the X2O Trophy, one of three series to be held during the season, on January 4 in the dunes of Koksijde.
