As we get closer to launch, the pace of leaked information on the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra is getting faster and faster. So here's everything we've learned about upgrades and new features for the S24 series, including photography, design, screen, storage, and color options.

First up, leaker Alvin (Sondesix on Twitter/X) highlights the Galaxy S24 series' focus on AI. The post goes on to say that it will include more realistic camera processing than seen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but this may differ by the time of final release.

Samsung Galaxy S models have historically fared well in our best camera phone guide, but their tendency to oversaturate scenes with unrealistic colors meant that it has always had a weakness that other major photo phones do not. Maybe in 2024, with the help of shiny new artificial intelligence, all that will change.

Alvin also told us a bit about the S24 Ultra's design. According to Alvin's sources, Samsung's titanium gray version of the S24 Ultra looks better than the equivalent natural titanium iPhone. We all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it is good to know that Samsung has not ignored the phone's appearance in favor of a tougher material.

According to Alvin's insider, the Galaxy S24 Ultra feels good to hold, and the main difference from previous Ultra Samsungs is that it is flatter than before. This will probably be an advantage for some users who feel that curved displays lead to a lot of missteps when trying to use the phone, but a disadvantage for users who are used to or like Samsung's curved displays.

Next, we move on to a leak from Ahmed Qwaider, where we learn a bit more about the Galaxy S24 Ultra's display.

The new top-class Samsung screen is said to be covered with Gorilla Glass Armor, which appears to be a new, unreleased type of tempered glass. The Galaxy S23 Ultra currently uses the strongest type of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 offered by Corning. The upgrade may be negligible, but hopefully it will make the phone less susceptible to damage from the inevitable scratches and drops that these devices experience in the world outside of bags and pockets.

This Ultra display also offers a brightness of 2,600 nits, a bit different from the 2,800 nits figure we saw earlier. However, this brightness is incredibly bright and would surpass the iPhone 15 Pro and Google Pixel 8 Pro.

Qwaider's post also corroborates leaks about the S24 Ultra's camera (including a new 50MP telephoto camera) and the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in most countries around the world.

Elsewhere, leaker MysteryLupin leaked all possible memory variants of the Galaxy S24 series, telling us how much RAM and storage you can expect for your money. We've listed all the rumored variations in the table below for ease of reading.

You can again see that the basic Galaxy S24 gets 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. However, the Galaxy S24 Plus is upgraded to 12GB of RAM like the larger Ultra model and offers 256GB by default and 512GB if you pay extra. the S24 Ultra has the same RAM and storage as the S23 Ultra It appears that 512GB or even 1TB of storage would be enough for everyone, so that should not be a problem.

Also, MysteryLupin's images show the various color options that may be offered across the Galaxy S24 series.

These colors will likely be given fancier names when Samsung officially launches them. However, it is good to have an idea about the balance between fun and sensible color choices one can get with the S24 series.

The Galaxy S24 series is supposed to launch in January, which is probably why so many leaks have appeared as preparations begin ahead of the vacations. We can't wait to see if these leaks are accurate and if Samsung has any others in store that have yet to be revealed by tip sources.
