The BBC's new adaptation of Enid Blyton's classic children's novel "The Famous Five" promises to be a modern reimagining of the original story while retaining its charm. The series includes three 90-minute episodes, the first of which, "The Curse of Giraffe Island," is currently streaming on BBC iPlayer.
